A Sous Chef is required at a quality new gastro pub to help the head chef take the business forward. As Sous Chef you will work closely with the small team to ensure service times run smoothly and the kitchen paperwork is all up to date. The menus, which you will be strongly involved in developing, current consist of modern British pub meals, tapas dishes, stone baked pizzas, and Sunday lunches. The dishes are made from fresh local seasonal ingredients wherever possible. The restaurant has 60 covers, during the summer this is a busy tourist spot and numbers will increase dramatically by utilising the outside areas of the pub.
The ideal candidate for this role will have been working as Sous Chef similar style of good quality food led pub and able to complete all kitchen documentation. An enthusiastic chef who can work well under pressure and is able to bring good menu ideas would be ideal for this role.
