A Sous Chef is required to work in our 4 star coastal retreat hotel. Sourcing our delicious ingredients from our kitchen garden and within a 30-mile radius, our hearty breakfasts, relaxed lunches, and celebratory dinners are the best in local, seasonal fare. You will support the Head Chef in overseeing all dining outlets and food production, including pastries and help in implementing more food choice, street food, picnic, and basket packages. Delivering customer excellence in the finished dish and to take the restaurant to another level.
A dynamic outgoing individual with a broad understanding of innovation and creativity, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Excellent record of kitchen and staff management. Support the Head Chef with overseeing junior chefs and other staff members where applicable. Accuracy and speed in managing situations and providing solutions. Experience of working in busy kitchen. Excellent attention to detail with a confident, professional, and welcoming personality.
