Sous Chef – TP2260 Full Time Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Sous Chef, working for a spa hotel which offers banqueting, functions, weddings and restaurant food. The restaurant is pushing for awards and has a good reputation with a fabulous reputation within the hotel group. As Sous Chef you will be expected to lead the strong brigade alongside the Head Chef and assist them to enable the smooth running of the kitchen. The Sous Chef will be expected to be able to run the kitchen fully in the Head Chef absence. Experience in a similar environment would be advantageous along with knowledge of cooking with fresh seasonal produce. As this is a Sous Chef role you will be assisting in all areas of kitchen management including paperwork, implementation of hygiene legislation, ordering and stock management.

Requirements:

An experienced passionate Sous Chef with experience in multi-outlet properties is required for this role. This role would suit a Sous Chef who has a proven track record of working in a team that caters for volume using quality fresh food. An excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen and an up to date awareness of current cooking trends is needed for this role. All chefs should have good organisational skills, able to have the kitchen fully prepped for busy service times in order to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
