The Owners of this reputable hotel located in Lincoln is seeking a Senior Sous Chef with previous experience who can put their own mark on the kitchen. The hotel currently offers 1 rosette dining but is is wanting to achieve further accolades. The hotel service includes restaurant, bar and functions so can be very busy. As Senior Sous Chef you will support the Head Chef but in their absence you will be leading the brigade of 6 and you will be responsible for all financials, costings and purchasing and must have good knowledge and be compliant with food safety.
This role would suit an experienced Senior Sous Chef or a very experienced Sous Chef looking for the next step up. Previous experience at a similar venue is important along with all Chefs applying having a proven track record working to a minimum of 1 AA rosette level. Good mentoring and leadership skills are also required along with excellent knowledge of current Kitchen regulations is also essential for this role.
