A prep chef is required to work in two pubs owned by the same company, located close together in idyllic village in Devon . As prep chef you will work straight shifts 3 days in one pub and 2 days in the other, you will not be required to cover the service times. The menus are different at each pub one needs mainly shell fish and fish prep and the other requires mainly meat prep. Both pubs are very busy especially during the tourist season so it is essential that you can work well under pressure and meet required deadlines. A great job for a chef who enjoys working in fast paced kitchens and preparing foods without the stress of managing service.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this role will have been working at a minimum of chef de partie level in a good quality fresh food property and have experience of preparing fish, shellfish and meats. You must have a stable background, be enthusiastic, and work well on your own under pressure and deadlines.
