An exciting opportunity for a Pastry Sous chef to work alongside an experience Pastry chef, who has a strong input on the menus at a 5 star luxury country house hotel that offers high quality, multi award winning dining in its modern British restaurant. In this role of Pastry Sous Chef you will focus mainly on the restaurant service and will have an input on the menus ensuring that they reflect the main menus. The pastry kitchen is fully equipped with modern equipment allowing you the opportunity to use and learn modern cooking techniques. The owners of this hotel are committed to their staff and extensive training and development plans are offered.
A Pastry Chef who is experienced in working in kitchens accredited to 3 AA Rosette level is required to take on this role. It is important that you are a creative chef capable of designing your own dishes and have dishes that you can bring to the department. All chefs must be able to demonstrate excellent team work, have a passion to provide a quality service every time and the ability to run the section when needed.
