An exciting opportunity for a Pastry Sous chef to work alongside an experience Pastry chef, who has a strong input on the menus at a 4 star luxury country house hotel and spa located near Burton on Trent, that offers high quality, award winning dining in its modern British restaurant. In this role of Pastry sous Chef you will be working mainly in the fine dining restaurant but at times will also cater for the weddings, special events, private dining and afternoon tea service that take place at the property. As Pastry Sous Chef you will have an input on the daily and weekly changing menus ensuring that they reflect the main menus and will have the opportunity to use and learn modern cooking techniques.
A Pastry Chef who is experienced in working in kitchens accredited up to two AA Rosette level is required to take on this role. It is important that you are a creative chef capable of designing your own dishes and have dishes that you can bring to the department. All chefs must be able to demonstrate excellent team work and have a passion to provide a quality service every time.
