This is an exciting opportunity for a Pastry chef who enjoys a challenge. The head Chef of a recently taken over country house hotel, located in Somerset, is seeking a Pastry Chef who can assist to push forward the already high standards currently offered. The head chef has a blank canvas to develop the catering department, produce will be grown in the kitchen gardens and this will be combined with locally sourced fresh seasonal ingredients to create the menus. The kitchen is a good size and as Pastry Chef you will be working closely with the head chef to design menus and prepare the deserts, cakes and breads for the hotel.
Requirements:
This role would suit an experienced Pastry Chef looking for a new challenge in their career. This position would be ideal for a chef who has a proven track record of working in the pastry section of fresh food hotel for a minimum of two years.
