Exciting opportunity for a Pastry chef to take charge of the pastry production, and who will have a strong input on the menus at a country house hotel in Devon that offers high quality, award winning dining in its modern British restaurant. The restaurant serves an average of 60 covers, as well as offering a popular afternoon tea service, In this role of Pastry Chef you will also cater for the weddings and special events that take place at the property. As Pastry Chef you will be working with a team of 5 chefs in the well equipped kitchen, it is important that you use modern cooking techniques whilst also featuring classic cooking.
A Pastry Chef who is experienced in working in 4 and 5 star hotels kitchens accredited to a minimum of 1 AA Rosette level is required to take on this role. It is important that you are a creative and forward thinking chef capable of designing your own dishes and having a large repertoire of dishes that you can bring to the department.
