The Owner a town hotel with an exceptional reputation is seeking a Junior Sous Chef who can maintain the high standard of fresh food served in the fine dining restaurant that currently holds 2 AA rosettes. The hotel offers breakfast, has an award winning restaurant, serves afternoon teas, Sunday lunches, and also has private dining rooms. The kitchen is a good size and as junior Sous chef you you will be assisting in menu planning and leading Chefs so good leadership skills are also required. The ingredients are all seasonally fresh and locally sourced, this is a great opportunity to join a stable and progressive team of chefs.
This role would suit a very strong senior chef de partie seeking their first junior Sous chef role or a junior Sous Chef looking for a new challenge in their career. This position would be ideal for a chef who has a proven track record of working in a fresh food operation and has some rosette or similar standard experience.
