The owners of a refurbished Coaching inn located in a tourist destination in Derbyshire is seeking either a Sous Chef or Head Chef to join the team. The seasonally changing menu consist of traditional wholesome British and Continental cuisine with a fresh modern approach. As Head Chef you will have the opportunity to not only develop the main menu and also the daily changing specials blackboard. The inn is located in a very popular destination and caters for in excess of 200 covers most days all year round.
A Sous or Head Chef who has a proven track record working in kitchens where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a strong team leader who has a mature approach to training in the kitchen in order to get the best out of your team. All chefs should be fully aware of current hygiene legislation with experience of training others in this area and ensuring it is followed at all times.
