Pastry Chef – TP2281 Full Time Permanent

A Pastry Chef position is available at a multi award winning four star stunning country hotel. The hotel is a busy dining venue with a 2 AA rosette fine dining restaurant serving fresh, modern dishes and tasting menus, breads, ice cream and fresh desserts. As Pastry Chef you can make a mark by pushing forwards for 3AA Rosettes. The hotel also hosts private events, weddings, conferences, Sunday lunches and exclusive afternoon teas. As a result this Pastry Chef role will require you to adapt to a number of different cooking styles whilst maintaining the day to day management of the kitchen and the supervision of the team of 7 chefs in the kitchen. You will support the Head Chef in all aspects of food production, from sourcing suppliers to delivering customer excellence in the finished dish.

Requirements:

CVs will be considered from Pastry Chefs, it is important that they highlight experience working in busy kitchens serving multiple dining operations and busy banqueting operations for a minimum of 2 years and ideally with a minimum of 2 Rosette experience. A Pastry chef who has the drive and ability to push forward standards, be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved
