A Head Chef is required to work in our much talked about award winning restaurant in a stunning red star property. The food is bold but beautiful, vibrant, and inventive, but with zero interest in gimmicks. Using locally sourced and foraged produce which are crafted into unique dishes. In this role you will have free reign of the kitchen to produce your desired dishes to be able to be confident that our guest have enjoyed the absolute best our hospitality has to offer both front and back of house. You will have responsibility for all aspects of food production, from sourcing suppliers to delivering customer excellence in the finished dish and to take the restaurant to another level.
A dynamic outgoing individual with a broad understanding of innovation and creativity, ingredients, equipment and procedures. Excellent record of kitchen and staff management. Oversee junior chefs and other staff members where applicable. Accuracy and speed in managing situations and providing solutions. Up to date culinary trends and optimised kitchen processes. Good understating of computer programs (MS Office, Epos). Experience of working in busy kitchen up to 3 rosette or Michelin properties as sous or head chef. High level of technical pastry knowledge. Excellent attention to detail with a confident, professional, and welcoming personality.
