The Manager of a well run busy pub located near Barnsley is seeking a Head Chef that can continue to deliver the food standards which are expected by the locals and visitors that return regularly due to the pubs reputation in the area. The Head Chef will need to work closely with the motivated team of chefs to ensure service times run smoothly and the kitchen paperwork is all up to date. The branded menus consist of classic ‘proper’ pub dishes including pies, fish and chips and steaks amongst others. As Head Chef you will be leading the team of five chefs from the front ensuring the standards are maintained during extremely busy peak seasons which sees the outdoor area being used to capacity.
The ideal candidate for this role will have been working as a Head Chef for a minimum of 3 years in a branded pub and be used to volume. A Head Chef that is a good leader and remains calm under pressure is essential for this role.
The pub will open in line with Government guidelines in order to ensure all staff remain safe within the working environment.
