The Group executive Chef of this well run, multi outlet hotel, located in Bedfordshire is seeking a Head Chef who can put their own mark on the kitchen ideally with 4* Hotel experience. The hotel offers all day dining dining in the British brasserie, offering seasonal dishes that are locally sourced where possible. There is a separate tearoom on site that is very popular with both locals and guests, serving a variety of freshly made sandwiches and cakes. The newly refurbished function suites can cater for 200 plus guests and are also very busy not only at weekends but also during the week. As Head Chef you will be responsible for overseeing 3 kitchens on the premises and leading a brigade of 15 chefs so good leadership skills are required. Completing all necessary paperwork and ensuring the kitchen is performing financially is also a crucial part of this role.
This role would suit a Head Chef or strong sous chef ready to step up with previous experience in multi outlet hotels of 4 star standard. It is important that all chefs applying have good all round cooking skills, is very organised and has excellent man management skills. Sound knowledge of current hygiene regulations, GP’s Budgets and managing stock is also essential for this role.
