A traditional food led pub which is looking to higher standards is seeking to appoint a Chef de Partie to join the Head Chef working in the kitchen. In this role of Chef de Partie you will be working with high quality, fresh local ingredients to create dishes for the main menu and the popular ever changing specials board. As Chef de Partie you will be expected to be capable of controlling the sections in the kitchen ensuring that you are fully prepared for service whilst gaining valuable experience and being trained to Sous Chef level. As this is a small team you will be expected to be able to run the kitchen on the Head Chefs days off.
A Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie with good all round ability who has been working in high quality, fresh food kitchens is required for this role. Knowledge of a number of sections in the kitchen would be an advantage as you will be working closely with the Head Chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly especially during busy service periods.
