The Owner of a traditional town pub is seeking a Chef de Partie to take on the opportunity to work at a pub restaurant that has high standards and an excellent reputation. The kitchen of the property has a dedicated and passionate team of 8 chefs who you will assist to ensure punctual, quality service at all times. The food is made with natural, top quality fresh ingredients that are sourced locally where possible, the all day menu consist of traditional pub classics, which include wood fired oven pizzas. The pub was totally refurbished 10 years ago to high standards and is popular not only with locals but also with tourists and is a very busy dining destination during the summer season. The Head chef is committed to pushing the food standards forward so this is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and enthusiastic team where full on the job training will be given.
A Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef who has been working in a similar fresh food pub environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a chef who is passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to achieve and has a good knowledge of current food safety regulations.
Due to the location of this property is is essential that all applicants have access to their own transport.
