A fantastic opportunity for a butcher to join and support a team at a hotel that has an excellent reputation for all dining options. An experienced chef with butchery skills is required to prep all of the meats for the menus offered at this hotel. The hotels fine dining restaurant serves modern British, seasonal dishes from the ‘a la carte menu prepared to two AA Rosette standard and pushing for 3 Rosettes. There is also a separate less formal restaurant that serves fresh food dishes throughout the day, and a further bar snack menu consisting of simpler dishes. In this role of Butcher you will be joining a team of 12 chefs working in the kitchen and will be able to work day time straight shifts from Monday to Friday. Casual hours will also be considered so that you can just work part time.
An experienced chef with butchery skills that have been developed in quality hotel and restaurant kitchens. An organised Butcher who can work alone and to tight deadlines, and able to communicate and liaise closely with the senior chefs in the kitchen.
