Exciting Opportunity for an assistant Catering Manager
A successful contract catering company is seeking an Assistant Catering Manager to join the team of 7 chefs at one of their key accounts. As Assistant Catering Manager, you will support the head chef to manage the kitchen and back of house operations, including the production of innovative quality menus in line with agreed budgets and projections whilst ensuring profitability and growth. You will assist to manage the site operation which provides breakfast lunch and evening meals for 500 covers daily, and fine dining for events and hospitality as required. The modern British menus are prepared using fresh seasonal produce with a wide choice available at each serving. The working hours are 5 days out of 7 with the occasional evening when special events are catered for.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this role will have been working for a minimum of 3 years in a kitchen management role. They must also have a proven track record in the administration and delivery of successful kitchen teams, and in leading a large team in diverse environments with a focus on client and customer service.
