A hotel with a small number of bedrooms which is a popular dining venue for guests, locals and visitors to the area is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to work under the Head Chef. Food is offered in the bar area as well as the restaurant which offers modern British dishes which have been prepared using ingredients from local suppliers. The property is also popular for weddings and corporate events so this role of Senior Sous Chef is very varied and will require you to ensure the team are organised and work to the high standards during busy service periods. In this role of Senior Sous Chef you will be assisting in all areas of kitchen management and the supervision of the junior chefs.
This role would suit a Sous Chef who has been working in fresh food kitchens most recently and ideally has previous minimum of 3 years of banqueting experience. The ability to cook to high standards whilst also supervising others in a busy kitchen environment is essential.
