A privately owned country inn with rooms, which is an award winning dining venue for guests, locals and visitors to the area is seeking an ambitious Sous Chef to maintain the excellent standards. Classical food with a modern twist is served using locally sourced seasonal ingredients from local farmers in the Yorkshire Dales and game off the surrounding moors. In this role of Sous Chef you will be assist in all areas of kitchen management including paperwork; hygiene legislation; financial performance; ordering and stock management.
This role would suit an ambitious and experienced Sous Chef who has a stable background and been working in fresh food kitchens most recently. The ability to cook to high standards whilst also supervising others in a busy kitchen environment is essential, and a drive to achieve high standards.
