The owner of a renowned fish and seafood restaurant is seeking a Sous Chef to help forward the already outstanding reputation of the restaurant which serves Michelin standard dishes. The restaurant is busy all year round serving locals and destination visitors with the dishes on the menus being created using fresh seasonally changing fish and shellfish. This is a hands on role and you will assisting to lead from the front, this job will give you an opportunity to put your own ideas and dishes on the menu and make your mark. As Sous Chef you will support and assist the head chef and lead the team of 5 chefs in their absence

The successful candidate should have experience of working with fish and shellfish dishes as a Sous Chef with fine dining experience. It is essential that you are hard working, passionate, forward thinking and have a can do attitude. It is essential that you have a proven track record of operating in similar restaurant environments and have demonstrated the ability to lead a team.
