The Manager of this luxury boutique hotel is seeking a Sous Chef to assist the Exec Head Chef with the running of the kitchen and small kitchen team. The exclusive country property offers all day dining with a breakfast menu, bar menus and evening fine dining A la Carte menus where all dishes are made on site using high quality locally sourced seasonal produce cooked to 1 AA rosette standard. The hotel also caters for small exclusive wedding parties and is a popular afternoon tea venue. The Head Chef is looking for a Sous Chef who is capable of running all sections under pressure whilst also being able to manage the junior members of the team.
An experienced Sous Chef who has the ability to help run a busy kitchen operation whilst also ensuring that the cooking standards always meet the properties expectations is needed to take on this position. A stable background with experience of working in similar high volume, multi outlet, fresh food kitchens is essential.
