An Award Winning boutique hotel is seeking an ambitious Sous Chef for an immediate start, who can have a strong influence on the menus. The hotel, which is situated in a beautiful tourist part of the country, offers wonderful Modern European fine dining lunches and dinners in the 2AA Rosette restaurant and also lighter dishes in the terrace bar. The hotel prides itself on providing menus featuring dishes made using local fresh ingredients which showcase the great British flavours on offer. You will be in a small brigade of 2 Chefs so will be directly supporting and liaising with the head chef to produce the seasonally changing menus. This is an exciting role as Sous Chef you will help the Head Chef who has full autonomy on the menus. Completing all necessary paperwork and ensuring the kitchen is performing financially is also part of this role.
This role would suit a Sous Chef who has previous experience at a similar venue, looking for a new challenge in their career. It is important that all chefs applying have good all round cooking skills gained from within kitchens where you were serving a number of different dining options from one kitchen. Excellent knowledge of current hygiene regulations is also essential for this role.
