The Head Chef of a hotel located in Huddersfield is seeking a Sous Chef to strengthen and help to lead the team of 8 Kitchen Staff. The hotel not only offers Modern British dining in the Brasserie style 80 cover restaurant and lighter snacks in the bar area but also hosts regular functions, weddings and conferences for 200 plus covers. The role needs a Sous Chef who can run all sections to the high standards expected in an organised and methodical manner and who is able to support the head chef and lead the team in his absence.
Requirements:
This is a great opportunity for a strong Junior Sous Chef looking for a step up or an existing Sous chef that has a proven track record. Previous experience of all sections is important for this role and you must have been Junior Sous or Sous for a minimum of 2 years. All chefs applying should have worked in a similar multi-outlet, fresh food hotel kitchen.
