The Owner of a group of inns is seeking two Sous Chefs that can assist the Head Chef to maintain the standards that are expected by the locals and visitors that return regularly due to the pubs good reputation in the area. The Sous Chefs will need to work closely with the motivated team of chefs to ensure service times run smoothly and the kitchen paperwork is all up to date. The menus consist of all day grills and global comfort foods but as Sous chef you will have a good degree of autonomy on the menus. The kitchen is well supported and fully equipped, as Sous Chef you will be leading the team of chefs from the front ensuring the standards are maintained during extremely busy peaks.
The ideal candidate for this role will have recently been working at Senior Chef de Partie level and looking for progression, or a Sous Chef that have worked at fresh food volume pubs or restaurants. A Chef that is a good leader, a forward thinker, able to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure is essential for this role.
