The Head Chef of this newly renovated upmarket restaurant, is seeking a Sous Chef who can assist with the creation of dishes. In this role you will be required to cater for the restaurant which offers high quality, fresh modern British all day dining. As Sous Chef you will also be expected to work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and that all of the CDPs and Commis Chefs are aware of their roles as well as training them to progress their knowledge. You will be able to have input into the menus which are changing regularly.
Closed Sunday evenings, Mondays and Tuesdays.
All chefs applying for this position must have all round cooking skills gained from fresh food establishments. You must have a calm nature and be able to work well under pressure. It is an excellent opportunity to learn and progress and would suit an established Junior Sous seeking a new challenge or a very experienced Chef de Partie looking for promotion.
