The Head Chef at a beautiful country hotel located in Skipton is seeking a Sous Chef to assist with the running of the kitchen which already has an excellent reputation for the food served . The team have achieved AA rosette’s for the dishes produced which are a combination of fine dining and modern British brasserie style, created using fresh seasonal ingredients . The hotel also caters for small weddings and functions and can be especially busy during the peak season. In this role of Sous Chef you will be joining a team of ten chefs working in the kitchen, not only cooking to the level required but also assisting the Head Chef with the management and the day to day running of the kitchen including taking charge in their absence.
A Sous Chef, with at least 2 years experience in this role, who has recently been working in a quality fresh food restaurant at a minimum of 1 Rosette standard. A Sous Chef with the passion and energy to continue to maintain the standard of the food served in the restaurant. A chef with all round skills in the kitchen who is capable of leading others and is an excellent team player.
