Sous Chef – TP2144 Full Time Permanent

The Owner of a privately owned hotel, located in a picturesque Derbyshire village, is seeking a Sous Chef who can maintain the high standards currently offered. The hotel offers simple, fresh, locally sourced foods and has an excellent reputation in the area. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunches and evening meals, afternoon teas are served, Sunday lunches are extremely popular and there is also a busy C & B department which can seat 100 covers. The kitchen is a good size, and this hotel offers an excellent working environment, as Sous chef you you will be assisting to lead a brigade of 6 Chefs so good leadership skills are also required. Assisting to complete all necessary paperwork and ensuring the kitchen is performing financially is also a key part of this role.

Requirements:

This role would suit a Sous chef, with a minimum 2 years experience at this level, looking for a new challenge in their career. This position would be ideal for a sous chef who is looking to progress to head chef level and has a proven track record of working in a fresh food operations. Excellent knowledge of current kitchen regulations is also essential for this role.
