A Sous Chef is required for a popular food led pub that provides hearty homemade seasonally fresh food purchased from local suppliers wherever possible. The Sous Chef will work closely with a talented team to ensure service times run smoothly and the kitchen paperwork is all up to date. This is a pub that gets very busy throughout the year but especially during the summer when there are a lot of tourists to the area. You will be expected to work closely with the Head Chef to develop menus and to assist leading a team of 3 or 4 chefs chefs.
The ideal candidate for this role will have been working as a Sous Chef at a similar style volume, fast paced, fresh food property, where you have demonstrated excellent standards. An enthusiastic, hands on chef that is creative, confident and a good team player.
The pub has opened in line with Government guidelines in order to ensure all staff remain safe within the working environment.
