A private owner is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef to assist in the launch of a trendy new seafood restaurant and brasserie in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Sous Chef, menus will feature a wide selection of fresh seafood, modern British style with Japanese and French influences. There will be a separate restaurant which will offer fine dining dishes and the owner wants to push forward for accolades. As Sous Chef you will be expected to bring your own innovative ideas to the menus to showcase the flair that you have in the kitchen which you will be required to train your team on too.
An experienced Sous Chef who has a proven track record in Mediterranean restaurants with an emphasis on seafood dishes, gained at award winning, AA Rosette kitchens. An excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen and an up to date awareness of current cooking trends is needed for this role. All chefs should have good organisational skills, be enthusiastic, a strong team builder, and want to push boundaries to achieve accolades and awards.
