The head chef of a luxury country hotel located in East Sussex is seeking a Sous Chef to assist with the running of all sections in the kitchen to ensure smooth service operations. The hotel currently offers 3AA rosette dining in the fine dining restaurant, along with a lighter bar menu and afternoon teas. There is also a busy all year round banqueting department which caters for private functions, parties and weddings. This is a fantastic opportunity as a Sous Chef to develop your skills in an up and coming kitchen where you will be expected to be able to run all sections whilst also assisting with the training of the junior members of the team.
Requirements:
This role would suit an experienced Junior Sous Chef looking for the next step up. Previous experience at a similar venue is important, all Chefs applying must have a proven track record working to a minimum of 2 AA rosette level. An eagerness to learn and develop is needed for this role
