The managers of a fresh food restaurant located at a luxury retirement Village is seeking a Sous Chef to join the team of 4 chefs working in the kitchen. The restaurant has a good reputation for high quality dining including afternoon teas, with all dishes prepared from fresh seasonal produce showcasing modern British dining. The restaurant is open to owners, their family and friends, club members and the local community and caters for 60 plus covers. In this role of Sous Chef you will be expected to assist to run the kitchen, have an input on the menus and develop your managing skills in a company that can offer you long term career opportunities.
A strong Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef who has been working in well respected, fresh food kitchens is required to take on this position. An ambitious chef who is seeking a role where they can continue to progress whilst working within a talented team of chefs would be ideal.
Due to the location of this job it is essential that all applicants have access to their own transport.
