A boutique town hotel is seeking a dynamic Sous Chef. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef with menus in the restaurant and bar area featuring a wide selection of modern seasonal dishes. The hotel also boasts function rooms that can serve up to 200 covers, and is a popular events and wedding venue. All dishes are made with fresh seasonal produce sourced locally where possible and changed regularly. This position requires strong management skills and the ability to work well under pressure is essential.
An accomplished passionate Sous Chef with experience or working in a fresh food property and banqueting is required for this role. This role would suit a Sous Chef who has a proven track record of leading a team whilst catering for both volume and quality fresh food. An excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen is needed for this role. All chefs should have good organisational skills, able to have the kitchen fully prepped for busy service times in order to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
