An independent family run hospitality complex set in the beautiful Hertfordshire Countryside is currently seeking to recruit a Sous Chef to join the busy kitchen teams. The complex consists of a 4* Hotel with a fine dining restaurant, a casual dining restaurant on the property, a restaurant that serves afternoon teas and separate function areas across the site. The property has an excellent reputation as a venue for weddings, ceremonies, family celebrations, conferences and meetings.

In this Sous Chef role you will be working in the more casual fresh food kitchen (which is primarily day time hours).

Requirements/ Responsibilities for Sous Chef:

The successful candidate MUST have previous experience in a similar environment – i.e. a strong background in a busy fresh food operation.
MUST be able to demonstrate their interest in food and a passion for consistently achieving to their full potential.

Please note that due to our rural location it is recommended that candidates have their own transport.
