The owners of a club house, that is for the exclusive use of members, is seeking a Sous Chef to assist to maintain the already outstanding reputation of the 100 plus cover restaurant and private functions. The restaurant is busy all year round serving members with dishes created using fresh seasonally changing local ingredients many of which are home grown on the estate. You will be working with a brigade of 10 chefs to produce and serve meals to rosette standard. This is a hands on role and you will be leading from the front, this job will give you an opportunity to put your own ideas and dishes on the menu and make your mark. As Sous Chef you will ensure the junior members of the team are prepared for service, the standard of the dishes produced are as expected and that service times run smoothly whilst also assisting to maintain the paperwork and GPs.
The successful candidate should have experience at Sous Chef level working in Rosette standard kitchens. It is essential that you are hard working, passionate, forward thinking and have a can do attitude. It is essential that you have a proven track record of operating in similar restaurant environments and have demonstrated the ability to lead a team under pressure.
