The Group Head Chef of a traditional pub restaurant that has recently been refurbished to high standards is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to take on this role and ensure that current high standards and reputation are not only retained but also elevated. The kitchen of the property has a team of enthusiastic chefs who you will assist to lead ensuring punctual, quality service. The dishes are made using fresh seasonal ingredients that are sourced locally where possible. As Sous chef you will have some input on the menus hence this is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that is pushing forward to make it a destination pub. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful and long established company in East Anglia.
Requirements:
A Sous Chef who can show longevity working in a similar fresh food pub environment where you were cooking all dishes from scratch using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a strong chef who has a mature approach to training in the kitchen in order to get the best out of the team.
