A Junior Sous Chef position is available at a 4 star Country Spa, multi-outlet hotel, which has a busy dining operation focused on creating fresh, seasonal produce. As Junior Sous chef you will assist with organising staff, monitor and train the brigade of 7 chefs. The spa hotel serves 60-80 covers each day in the restaurant serving healthy fresh food dishes to the guests. The hotel offers different dining options, including all day brassiere style, Asian, afternoon teas and relaxed dining. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef looking to work in a busy fresh food environment in a refurbished, well equipped kitchen.
The Head Chef is seeking a good all rounder Junior Sous Chef who is seeking a role where they can commit themselves in a fast paced quality kitchen. It is important that you can adapt to different cooking styles with previous experience of banqueting for large numbers. A confident chef who is capable of organising others in the kitchen and can support the Head Chef, is required for this role. Previous experience working in high volume fresh food kitchens is essential along with very strong organisational skills.
