A multi outlet hotel and golf club that offers fresh seasonal menus using locally sourced produce is recruiting a Sous chef. The facilities at the golf club provide meals for members in a variety of outlets including day time snacks in the Cafe Bistro, all day dining in the main restaurant and banquets in the event and conference rooms. The hotel is especially busy during the golf peak season in the summer months but is used throughout the year as it is a popular wedding venue. As Sous Chef you will be working in a team of 10 supporting the Head Chef, and monitoring the junior chefs in a faced paced environment.
This role of Sous Chef would suit a driven Sous Chef who has previous experience working in fast paced fresh food kitchens. Knowledge of kitchen paperwork is essential to assist the Head Chef to comply with kitchen legislation.
