A Sous Chef position is available at a multi-outlet hotel which has a busy dining operation focused on creating fresh, seasonal produce. In this role of Sous Chef you will be preparing dishes for the Brasserie style restaurant; the bar and the conference/ banqueting department which is popular with both leisure and corporate guests. The Head Chef needs a Sous Chef with strong all round cooking skills who can move around the sections but also assist with the supervision of the CDPs and Commis as well as stepping up to cover Head Chef when required.
An existing Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef who has experience working in corporate hotels for a minimum of 3 years needed to take on this role. It is important that you can adapt to different cooking styles with previous experience of banqueting for large numbers. A confident chef who is capable of organising others in the kitchen and can support the Head chef is required for this role.
