An excellent opportunity for a Sous chef who is looking for a work life balance, this role is day time shifts and a maximum of 40 hours a week. This position is for a senior chef to work in a private care home, that caters for between 25 to 60 residents at any one time. In this job you will be providing nutritionally balanced and visually appealing meals whilst also catering for special dietary requirements, but full training will be given. In this role you will be working with one or two others in the kitchen so it is a small team and you will liaise with the care staff to ensure residents needs are catered for.
A Sous Chef who has a a proven track record of working in fresh food kitchens is required to take on this position. A chef who has good communication skills, and a positive attitude and is willing to go the extra mile to not only provide meals for the residents but also cater for parties and birthdays etc… to make a difference.
