The owners of a busy restaurant is seeking a Sous Chef to help run the kitchen at the venue with a brigade of 8. With Rosette accolades this restaurant prides itself on a high standard. The menus at the restaurant are a combination of modern British and traditional classic dishes. As Sous Chef you will help the Head Chef with full autonomy on the menus to showcase good quality dishes which will continue to tempt the regular customers and visitors which make this a very busy restaurant at peak times. As Sous Chef you will be responsible for all areas of kitchen management including paperwork; implementation of hygiene legislation; financial performance; rotas; ordering and stock management in the Head Chef absense.
An experienced Sous Chef with rosette experience who has previous experience of busy fast paced restaurants or pubs resulting in an excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen and an up to date awareness of current cooking trends is needed for this role. All chefs applying for this role should have good organisational skills who are able to have the kitchen fully prepped for busy service times in order to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
The restaurant has reopened in line with Government guidelines in order to ensure all staff remain safe within the working environment.
