This is an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef reporting to the Chef Manager to manage the kitchen within a successful business. In this role you will be responsible for providing breakfast and lunches for employees between 50 – 80 covers, as well as hospitality for working meetings. Fine dining evening events and canape evenings take place throughout the year. Bistro style plated lunches made from fresh produce which are all cooked on site. You will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen management and staff training to ensure that high standards are maintained.
An experienced Sous Chef with good knowledge and high end cooking skills who has worked in a similar environment where you were cooking all dishes from fresh ingredients, baking fresh bread, cakes and desert of the day. The role needs a strong Chef, who is very organised and able to work well under pressure to deliver the best service for the employees.
