The Head Chef of this multi outlet spa hotel is seeking a Sous Chef with previous experience, who can strongly support the team in the kitchen. The hotel, which is situated in a stunning location in the Lake District, offers dining in a number of outlets including 2 restaurants, afternoon teas, lighter bites in the lounge and is also a popular venue for weddings and conferences catering for up to 280 guests. The hotel prides itself on providing excellent quality, seasonally changing fresh food prepared and cooked to high standards. You will be working with a large brigade of Chefs so good leadership skills are essential and you must be prepared to develop and train chefs. This is an exciting role for a Sous Chef who wants to work with an experienced hands on forward thinking Head Chef. You will be working in a family run, friendly and supportive environment where you will be encourage you to reach your full potential.
This role would suit a Sous Chef who has previous experience at a similar venue, looking for a new challenge in their career. It is important that all chefs applying have good all round cooking skills gained from within excellent quality fresh food kitchens. It is also important that you have experience serving a number of different dining options, and that you are standards driven, hands on, and can maintain a strong team.
