Sous Chef – CG2201 Full Time Permanent

The head chef of a busy hotel located in the lake district is seeking a Sous Chef to assist with the running of all sections in the kitchen to ensure smooth service operations. The hotel currently offers rosette dining in the fine dining restaurant, along with a lighter bar menu and afternoon teas. There is also a busy all year round banqueting department which caters for private functions, parties and weddings. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in an up and coming kitchen where you will be expected to cover in the absence of the head chef whilst also assisting with the training of the junior members of the team.

Requirements:

This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef looking to work in a progressive company. Previous experience at a similar venue is important, all Chefs applying must have a proven track record working to a minimum of 2 AA rosette level. An eagerness to learn and develop is also needed for this role.
