A large multi outlet hotel located near Bolton is seeking a Sous Chef to assist the senior chefs in the management of a brigade of up to 15 chefs. The hotel is a large scale operation and has multiple kitchens covering the different outlets. In this role you will work alongside another Sous chef and report to the head and exec chef, working in all kitchen sections and in all outlets. The property is a busy venue with a capacity of 400 plus covers, which includes providing quality fresh food for conferences, corporate dining, weddings and parties along with the restaurant and bar menus. The dining options are varied for the multiple rooms and spaces available and an emphasis is placed on all guests receiving a five star experience. During the peak season the property is very busy so needs a Sous Chef who is flexible and able to have input into the menus, costings and training staff.
A Sous Chef who has a stable background working in 4* Hotels and can demonstrate the management skills needed to run a busy operation. You must be able to works well under pressure and to tight deadlines for this role.
