A well established private hotel company is seeking a Sous Chef to take on this role and ensure that current high standards and reputation of this stunningly located hotel is retained. The kitchen of the property has a team of four chefs who you will assist to lead ensuring punctual, quality service. The restaurant has 50 covers and offers high end bistro style menus with dishes made from fresh seasonal ingredients sourced as locally as possible. In this position of sous chef you will have a strong input on the menus as the head chef has total autonomy on them and you will cover the kitchen on their days off. The hotel is situated in a stunning location on the banks of a lake just 1 hour from Edinburgh, and free accommodation is included in the package.
Requirements:
A Sous Chef who has experience working in a kitchen where dishes are cooked using high quality, fresh ingredients. The role needs a chef who enjoys living and working in the countryside.
