A multi outlet prestigious golf Hotel, which also has a spa, that offers fresh seasonal menus using locally sourced produce is recruiting a Sous chef. The facilities at the golf club provide meals for members in a variety of outlets including day time snacks, formal members dinners, to volume golfing events. The golf club is especially busy during the golf peak season in the summer months but is used throughout the year as it is a popular wedding and events venue. The hotel has a large newly equipped kitchen and as Sous Chef you will be working with a team of 10 chefs, supporting the Head Chef, and monitoring the junior chefs in a faced paced environment. This role offers good working hours to ensure a work life balance is achieved for the team in the kitchen.
This role of Sous Chef would be ideal for a Junior Sous Chef looking for promotion who has previous experience working in fast paced fresh food kitchens. Knowledge of kitchen paperwork is preferable but not essential as training will be given, to assist the Head Chef to comply with kitchen legislation.
