A fresh food pub with rooms located in a busy holiday destination town in the lake district is seeking a senior Sous Chef. The pub has a great reputation in the region and is popular for its pub favourites, restaurant dishes and the bar snacks that are served. The simple menus consist of fresh ingredients and pre prepared food and meals are served Monday to Saturday lunches and dinners and Sunday Lunch times. The pub can get very busy especially at lunch times during the summer so service needs to be fast paced whilst keeping the high standards expected.
A Senior Chef de Partie or Sous Chef who has been working in fast paced restaurants or pubs is required to take on this position. Ideally a local chef who does not require accommodation and is willing to be flexible with working hours.
