A coaching Inn which has a great reputation for food resulting in a fast paced service is seeking a Sous Chef to work closely with the Head Chef. The pub serves menus featuring traditional pub classics which are all prepared from fresh ingredients on site with a focus on seasonality. In this role of Sous Chef you will be preparing dishes for the restaurant at the pub for the main, light bites and special menus. In this role you will be expected to have strengths on all sections in the kitchen whilst also being capable of running the kitchen regularly and assisting in keeping up the good staff morale. This company is an excellent company to work for they believe in family values, offer excellent training and support and is closed Christmas Day.
A committed Sous Chef who has a stable CV based in similar fresh food pubs preferably is needed to take on this role. A chef who is confident working on any section but is also capable of managing others and controlling the kitchen as a whole is needed for this role.
